Advertise on theOFL.app
Two ways to put your business in front of more people on the island. Both are clearly labelled as paid, and neither changes how anything else on the site works.
Banner ads
- One banner per page, placed within the page at the same spot on desktop and phones — seen early, never in the way of what people came for.
- Always labelled “Sponsored”, and it links straight to your website.
- Each slot is shared in equal rotation between the advertisers booked into it for the same dates.
- Booked directly with us — there's no online checkout yet. Email hello@theofl.app with what you'd like to promote and when, and we'll come back to you with availability.
Featured listings
- Promoted listings appear in their own labelled section above the regular board — “Featured” on Discover, “Promoted” on the homepage.
- They come with a plan: Advanced includes 1 a month, Pro includes 1 a week. They aren't available on Basic or on the free plan. See the plans.
What paying doesn't buy
Advertising buys visibility, nothing else.
- It doesn't verify your business. Verification is a separate check we do by hand, and it can't be bought or skipped.
- It doesn't change the order of anything else. Regular listings always show newest first, and the business directory is alphabetical, whatever plan you're on.
- It isn't an endorsement. A sponsored banner or featured listing means a business has paid to be seen — not that theOFL.app vouches for it.
